Chicken Curry With Mushrooms

Juicy chicken cooked in a creamy curry sauce, enhanced by the woody note brought by the mushrooms. A recipe that will take you no time for maximum deliciousness. Yum!



600g of chicken fillets

2 red onions

10-12 button mushrooms

2 tablespoons of tomato paste

2 tablespoons of curry powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons of dried parsley

600ml of fresh cream

100ml of water mixed with one and a half tablespoons of cornstarch


  1. Finely slice the onions and sauté them in a pan until they take on a golden translucent color.
  2. In the same pan, add the chicken fillets previously cut into strips, along with the curry, parsley, pepper, salt, and tomato paste, and cook until the chicken turns white. At this stage, your kitchen should be filled with an enticing aroma that will make your mouth water. Without a doubt!
  3. Add the button mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes. The mushrooms should not be fully cooked as they will finish cooking gently in the sauce we're going to prepare.
  4. Next, add the cream and let the mixture simmer for about ten minutes. It's ready! Enjoy your meal!
  5. BONUS: Feel free to serve this dish with the starch of your choice. Bread, rice, potatoes, fries, quinoa... Anything is possible! Bon appétit!


  • It is important to be careful not to overcook the mushrooms as they will continue to cook in the sauce afterwards.
  • For even more flavor, you can marinate the chicken in a mixture of curry, parsley, pepper, and salt for about 30 minutes before cooking. This will allow the spices to penetrate the meat further and add a more intense flavor.
