Units Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (of your choice)
  • A drizzle of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 ounce mozzarella (grated)
  • 1 ounce parmesan cheese (grated)


  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Keep a little of the cooking water, drain and set aside.
  2. Add the butter to a pan with olive oil.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add gochujang and cook for a minute or two while stirring. Gochujang is a spicy paste, so adapt it to your own taste. 
  5. Add cream and mix until combined.
  6. Let simmer for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add your cooked pasta and a dash of pasta water, stir on medium heat until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  8. Take off the heat and add the mozzarella and parmesan, then stir to incorporate. It's ready, serve hot and enjoy! 


  • Customize the level of spiciness: Gochujang is a spicy paste, so adjust the amount to suit your preferences. If you like spicy dishes, feel free to add an extra spoonful. If you prefer a milder taste, reduce the amount.
  • Don't overcook pasta: Be sure to cook pasta al dente, as it will continue to cook slightly in the sauce. This will prevent the pasta from becoming too soft, and keep your dish beautifully textured.
