Stuffed Bell Peppers with Cheese

Savor the exquisite blend of seasoned ground beef,  and melted cheese in our Stuffed Bell Peppers. A perfect harmony of flavors awaits in every bite.


Units Scale
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 4 whole bell peppers
  • 1/2 chopped bunch of cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 cup passata
  • Shredded cheese blend (we used mozzarella and cheddar)


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cook the rice in boiling water, then set aside.
  2. Using a cutting board, remove the tops from 4 bell peppers and discard, then cut the peppers lengthwise into 2. Remove the core from each bell pepper.
  3. Place the 8 bell pepper halves in the oven. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until they become slightly charred.
  4. Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef. Using a cooking utensil, break the meat into small pieces as it cooks and browns.
  5. Once the meat begins to brown, add paprika, salt and pepper and stir to ensure that all the meat is coated with the seasoning. Stir in the passata and rice. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet, and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  6. When the bell peppers are done baking, fill them with the cooked meat mixture and top them with cheese.
  7. Return the filled bell peppers to the oven for a few minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
  8. Once melted, remove the peppers from the oven and garnish with your preferred toppings. Your favorite sauce and fresh herbs, for example. Enjoy your meal!


  • Be creative with toppings: Sour cream, chopped green onions, or even diced tomatoes can be great additions.
